We really enjoyed the lovely breakfast with freshly baked bread! It was such a nice touch when the staff left us two miniature bottles of wine to celebrate our anniversary, very thoughtful of them.

The stay wasn't inexpensive but it was a fair price for what we got.

The stay here was enjoyable on a Saturday night. It had wonderful location next to a church and a castle. It took us 5 minutes' walk to reach downtown, and the staff were superbly friendly.

It was a really nice stay, the best I had before. The hotel was modern and charming old, and the staff were incredibly nice, really enjoyed the wonderful location next to Birr Theatre and Arts Centre, town center and Birr Castle and Gardens. The breakfast had a good choice of selection, the food was awesome.

Well, Wi-Fi was very spotty.

The coffee machine was unfortunately not functioning!!! Dated room fixtures were evident, particularly the dusty furniture and old carpet!!!

I was almost going to give a good review but then i noticed the shower wasn't clean and the coffee machine didn't work. There was a lack of any kind of welcome gift for my stay, which i expected. The decor is tired and the room key is so outdated!

The location was ideal as we were able to easily stroll around to find lovely local cafes and bars, and the classic decor in the room created a charming ambiance.

The coffee machine needed proper cleaning, and , it seemed a bit neglected.

The breakfast options were good, but

It left me wanting more variety, especially with some local specialties potentially unrepresented. The service was quite warm, and the shared space in the courtyard added a lovely touch to our morning coffee routine.

The coffee machines in the rooms clearly need a good cleaning and haven't been checked recently, a hygiene concern. A few guests reported issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and noise from other guests, particularly during busy breakfast hours. There were occasional concerns about the lack of maintenance in certain common areas.

It is a good guesthouse with charming decor and an excellent breakfast selection, and the staff are genuinely warm and cute!

The room was bright and clean, and we loved our spacious stay that hit like home.

Great vegan breakfast options and lovely boutique decor. Wi-fi was spotty at times.

The room was fine with high ceilings and a big oak tree outside the window. Breakfast was delish, i had the irish breakfast and my husband had the breakfast bap. Fresh orange juice, pastries, and lovely coffee made it a great start to the day. We loved the beautiful interiors shop and ended up buying a print. It was nice that our dog was welcomed too.

We had a fantastic stay with a fine room featuring high ceilings and a lovely big oak tree outside. The breakfast was good, especially the Irish breakfast with fresh pastries, but I wish the coffee machines were checked more often.

Delicious breakfast options here! the fruit salad was top-notch, and they even had a variety of fresh lettuce to choose from - so good! 🥗

The Stables Townhouse B&B offers modern accommodation in a beautiful setting, just a short walk from Birr Castle and numerous pubs and restaurants. The rooms are huge and exceptional, equipped with amenities like a hair dryer and a kettle. The staff is super-friendly and outstandingly accommodating, making the overall experience very pleasant.
